For years now, Laura Ingraham has been misrespenting pro-choice figures like Margaret Sanger. A few years ago, Loretta Ross, who is the founder of Sister Song, a black womens’reproductive group, called Ingraham a racist on her own show, to which Ingraham hung up on her. It seems that Laura is at it again.

Michael Steele, failed former RNC chairman, was on her show today when Ingraham made this statement: “Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, who sought to control the population of the undesirables and black and brown Americans were in her crosshairs,” Ingraham asserted… (Mediaite)

Of course what Ingraham fails to note here, is that Eugenics was practiced by over a dozen states in this country;and although Sanger may have been radical in her views as many were during her time, she later formed relationships with the NAACP and Dr. King. Furthermore, the NAACP provided the funding for Sanger to start Planned Parenthood. Sanger was endorsed and worked with W.E.B. Du Bois, so isn’t a little disingenious to suggest that Margaret Sanger is a racist? Isn’t it fair to say that Michael Steele and Laura Ingraham took a snippet of information and presented it to their audience as the whole truth?

If anyone is a racist, it’s Laura Ingraham. Laura Ingraham was the one who wrote a book that contained black stereotypes while attacking the Obama family. Laura Ingraham was the one defending the racist apartheid government of South Africa, while calling a black professor a brillohead in print. Laura Ingraham was the one who said Obama should use his Jermiah Wright accent. Go to hell, Ingraham!!
