Ingraham contends that since Muslims were responsible for 9/11, all American Muslims should not mind being profiled. Of course, this argument, along with every argument made by Laura Ingraham, is an ignorant one. First, more non-muslim, meaning white, right-wing plots, have been broken up by the F.B.I. since 9/11. In 2009, the Department of Homeland Security collected a wide variety of intelligence reports that suggest that anti-government, single-issue, white males, are our greatest threat internally. Not much has changed since then. In fact, it has gotten worse. The Southern Poverty Law Center has documented over a 400% member increase in right-wing militia groups. There are now 500,000 sovereign citizens in the U.S. Sovereign citizens like Jeremy and Jerry Kane (look them up if you are not familiar with them) are extremely dangerous to this country.

Terrorists like Anders Behring Breivik are very much alive and well within the Tea Party, but Ingraham refuses to label these individuals terrorists for a few reasons: 1.) They share her ideology. Laura Ingraham grew up in an extreme right-wing household where her parents supported Barry Goldwater. She once wrote in one of her books that “True Americans are white, christian, and conservative.” (Somewhere on this site is the documentation). Hatred of people and the government are cornerstones for Laura Ingraham. 2.) Laura Ingraham is a racist. 3.) Laura Ingraham and her corporate masters stand to make money off of fear. Fear is part of the right-wing playbook. Fear keeps these people in power.
