The Huffington Post is reporting that Laura Ingraham is not renewing her contract with the Talk Radio Network, and therefore will be off the air. According to the report, Ingraham announced on today’s show that she will not be renewing her contract even though she has been with TRN for nine years.

Here is my take on this: Ingraham wants more than they are willing to give her. I think that is pretty clear. Four years ago, as we have documented on this site, there were reports that Ingraham was having trouble reaching an agreement because she wanted too much money per year.

What is also pretty clear is that Ingraham’s numbers have really gone down. She barely has more listeners now than she did nine years ago. Other talk radio hosts, hosts that started with far less listeners, have outperformed her and are now beating her in ratings.

We all know Ingraham loves to rail agaisnt Hollywood. She blames Hollywood for the denigration of our culture. But as they say, actions speak louder than words. According to her Facebook page, Laura visited Malibu this weekend, the same weekend that the Clinton Concert took place in nearby in Los Angeles. Could it be that Ingraham attended this event? I’d bet money on it. For a person who claims to hate Hollywood, she sure spends a lot of time at the Grammy Awards, or posing with the likes of Ben Affleck. So my question to you is, do you think Laura Ingraham is a fake? I hate right-wing pundits. I would never attend an event, or pose for a picture with one. It’s pretty hard to imagine someone like Sean Hannity or Mark Levin attending a Hollywood event, or posing with Vice President Biden.
