Yesterday on her show, Laura Ingraham was her typical shock jock self, when she hurled horrific insults that her friend Don Imus would be proud of. Ingraham was blatantly insulting Senator Barbara Boxer based on her appearance, saying she is afraid to look in the mirror, or that she looks like a trainwreck. Laura Ingraham further displayed her intellectual superiority by calling Barbara Boxer “chimney sweep.” This is what is considered political analysis? Laura Ingraham should be looked at no differently than Don Imus or Howard Stern.

My guess is that since Ingraham is slipping in the ratings and that she is no longer on the major markets she once was, she is trying to be even more shocking than ever before. The only thing that would shock me would be if Laura can make it through an entire broadcast without a racist comment, lie or insult. In that sense, I don’t think I’ll be shocked.

Prior to the Boxer tirade, Laura Ingraham went on to accuse Obama of directly encouraging ACORN to fraudulently register voters. Of course this is an out-right lie. Obama was a lawyer for them nearly two decades ago, so therefore he must be responsible for the “voter fraud.” Ingraham, while condemning Obama, conveniently forgot to mention that John McCain and a whole host of republicans supporter ACORN.
