Now she is claiming that because a taskforce is recommending that women get mamograms at 50 not 40, somehow this will lead to rationing with the health care bill, even though women will be allowed to get mamograms whenever they want. Note to Laura: The Obama administration supports women getting mamorgrams at the age of 40. Nothing in the health care bill bars women from getting mamograms.
I figured with all this talk of mamograms, I’d throw this one out there.
Loading ...Recently, the cowboy radio shock jock announced that he has stage two prostate cancer. According to Imus, the type of cancer cell he inhabit is not the most aggressive, but not the most passive, either. Imus is currently debating what type of treatment to take; he’s leaning towards radiation.
Clearly, Imus’s radio career is uncertain. His treatment can go very well and he could recover completely- De Niro, giuliani- or the cancer can progress with him ending up dying. If his condition turns for the worse, WABC will have to replace him.
Laura Ingraham has appeared on Don Imus’s show since 1996. The two are friends; does it surprise you that two hateful bigoted people can get along? My guess is, is that if Don Imus has to retire from radio, Laura Ingraham would be the first person trying to land his spots. Imus’s body wouldn’t even be cold before Ingraham tried to weisel her way in. She’s reportedly has done this with other hosts she has known for a long time, aswell.
For the record: Although Don Imus is a racist and a mean-spirited person, I do not equate him with Ingraham. They have two entirely different purposes. I listen to Imus every morning when driving home from work. I respect his chemistry with his staff. Sometimes it makes for entertaining radio.
