The good folks over at Newshounds think so. Remember, Laura Ingraham is the lady who accused President Obama of speaking in his “Jermiah Wright” accent. (What in the hell is that?) This is also the lady that said the White House should nail all their valuables down when Rev. Sharpton visits. If that’s not enough, Laura Ingraham was reportedly sued by a Dartmouth african american profressor for calling him a brillo head in print.

Now that you have an idea of Ingraham’s past, let’s take a look at another disasterous appearance on The O’reilly Factor. On Friday, Ingraham was gleeful to highlight a supposed rift between blacks and President Obama due to high unemployment rates among african americans. However, what the dishonest pundit didn’t mention, was that unemployment among african americans under President Bush was twice the national average. In other words, Ingraham was trying to make this a black/Obama thing.

Ingraham then goes on to say: ““I have this novel idea, it’s kind of crazy . . . when you make America the #1 place for wealth creation and business development and hiring in the world by giving people incentives to hire, i.e., tax breaks, tax credits . . . .”

Ingraham is incorrect here. Our corporations pay no taxes in this country. Although corporations have the highest tax rate in the world, loopholes written into the law by conservatives have allowed them to ship money over seas and hide them in off-shore mailboxes. In fact, 13 trillion dollars of untaxed money exists overseas.
