More Anti-Gay Bigotry From Laura Ingraham? You be the Judge!

The website The New Civil Rights Movement dot com, which is a gay equality site, took issue with Ingraham tweeting “Oh No” about a transgender man proposing to his partner at the White House. Here’s what writer David Badash wrote:Laura Ingraham, a Fox News host and conservative radio commentator, today made what certainly seems to be an apparent transphobic attack on love and marriage. Ingraham posted a link to a Huffington Post article on a marriage proposal by a transgender man that took place during Friday’s White House LGBT Pride reception, and wrote, “Oh no…” as her commentary..

Badash did his homework on Ingraham, as he noted Ingraham’s anti-gay past at Dartmouth in which she referred to gays a “sodomites”, and dubiously taped a meeting of gay students, outing them in the process. In addition, Badash also noted that Ingraham’s brother is gay. Apparently after seeing her brother’s partner die of AIDS, Ingraham softened her stance and began to be more accepting of the need for protection of gays. Still, Ingraham continues to espouse anti-gay bigotry. As this website has pointed out, in 2009, Ingraham was voted one of the most anti-gay pundits in America by GLAAD.

Maddow Fans Stick Up for Rachel in the Midst of Attacks!

Great post! To add to your point, Fox News just fired Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, probably the only PHD that worked for Fox.

Alan: I don’t recall EVER hearing Maddow declare herself as gay on her program. In fact I think you’re the one with the “gaydar” problem.

Also, unlike O’Reilly, no one at MSNBC has had to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit (although Chris Matthews teeters on the edge at times on his show).

Maddow is a Rhodes scholar (find one at Fox), who actually appears to PREPARE for her show, as does (to be fair) O’Reilly. The same cannot be said for Beck and Hannity (on either Radio or TV), who basically know nothing and prove it nightly.

“Fox News” is GOP(alin)ravda, but appears to appeal to the ignorant among us.

P.S. you should put (sp) after each sentence just to be safe, although you did spell Imus correctly

Ingraham Fans Don’t Like Rachel Maddow?

Why is that? Because Rachel doesn’t resort to name-calling. Rachel is not a hateful person. Alan from Alabama sent in the following comments. I’ll respond after each one.

P.S. Orilly get’s what 2.6 million…Some online places report Maddow lost 65% of the viewers in the past few months. Maybe there tired of her constant “I’m gay so I’m better then…”insert name here” attitude.

People are getting tired of the left’s claims of tollerance but now are being shown to have no tollerance.

The tide is turning.

The WWE gets 3 million viewers. Do you approve of their product? I love when conservatives try to validate what Fox does by the ratings they get.

Maddow frequently beats Larry King, who has been on the air forever. I doubt she has lost 65% of her viewership. Maddow is 10 times less than an elitist than Ingraham.

Rachel Maddow is as much a hate moger as any conservative can be. Only reason some watch her is they want to support the Gay community.

She, like that Imus (sp) guy should be off the air.

Now this is truly laughable. Can you name me one hateful thing Rachel Maddow has done in her background? Can you name me one controversial thing Rachel has done while on air? Has Rachel ever gotten in trouble for her comments or actions towards blacks, gays, democrats, democratic phone lines?

This claim….Transgender people were repeatedly used as punching bags by Fox News Channel. Is a lie!

Like a lot of open minded Liberals and Democrats I watch fox all the time to get a balance of information. I have even heard some of the host’s defend such.

Get the info right if your going to attack them or you look like an idiot for mouthing off

Laura Ingraham has continually mocked the transgender community. On Fox News she said they were destroying the culture.
