The meme within the racist right is that Obama is not an African American because his mother was white. You’ll recall, Rush Limbaugh called Obama a “halfrican American.” Today on her radio show, racist talkshow host Laura Ingraham suggested Obama is not black.

Source: Media Matters Her grasp of race and politics has only grown stronger since then, and today on her radio show she wondered aloud if Herman Cain “would be the first black president, when you measure it by — because he doesn’t — does he have a white mother, white father, grandparents, no, right?”

Ingraham Lies, Claims Obama No Longer Receives Daily Updates on the Economy.

This has been a right-wing meme since June of this year. Many right-wing media figures have claimed that President Obama no longer receives daily updates on the economy. The claim comes from a June 6 article by The Hill, headlined, “Daily economic briefings disappear from Obama’s White House schedule.”

The fact of the matter is, President Obama still receives daily briefings on the economy. In fact, White House Spokesperson Amy Brundage said the president receives updates and briefings on the economy in a number of ways.

Brundage said in an email that “the president routinely meets with members of his economic team, both on an individual basis and in groups, and receives updates from his economic staff from their daily staff meeting.” (Source: The Hill, as chronicled by Media Matters.)

Even Foxnews.com reported that President Obama has daily meetings with his advisors on the economy, so the question becomes, why is Laura Ingraham lying? Oh wait- this is what Laura Ingraham does for a living, I forgot.

Ingraham Attacks Obama For Being”Obsessed With Celebrities,” But Then Praises Trump?

Someone on Media Matters noted that Ingraham has said that Palin is obsessed with celebrity and accumulating wealth, but we haven’t been able to confirm that statement. However, Laura Ingraham is on record tonight attacking Obama for being ” obessed with celebrities” while praising Donald Trump. In fact, a few weeks ago on her radio show, Ingraham was encouraging Donald Trump to run.

Laura Ingraham is a hypocrite in so many different ways. This is the same lady who gleefully posed for a picture with Joe Biden and Ben Affleck. At the 2008 Democratic Convention, Ingraham, along side Mika Brezinski and A. Huffington, was treated to spa treatment and gourmet meals prepared by Oprah’s chief. Donald Trump famously tried to hook this hag up with a date. So, really: Who’s obesessed with celebrities, here?
